Evening sun

Lumeria rested into the sands, head held high and eyes closed as she soaked in the warmth from the summer sun, the relative peace soothing her muscles and the slight breeze rustling her hair in gentle wave mimicking the water near her.

The song started at the edge of her hearing, and slowly became louder and louder and more noticeable and less of a background noise as the minutes ticked by. Only once the sun started kissing the sea did Lumeria open her eyes to try and is locate the sound. Her eyes lazily trailed over the sand, halting on a crab scuttling across the ground before dismissing it and continuing on before it settled onto the softly rolling waves beside her. Movement caught her eye, and she narrowed in to see a face watching her back!
