Guest Artist Applications!

What Is A Guest Artist?

A Guest Artist is an artist who creates official Enivi to be sold on-site, but isn't an official part of the Keepers of Eniv staff team.

Being a Guest Artist is an exciting way to contribute to the Keepers of Eniv community!
Guest Artists create official Enivi, which are sold on-site, and the profits (after any fees) go directly to the Guest Artist. All Guest Artists must agree to our Guest Artist Agreement, so please make sure to review it before applying.

Let's take a closer look at the process!

Who Can Be A Guest Artist?

Guest Artists must be at least 18 years old and have a way to accept digital payments from us for their Enivi.
You don't need a Keepers of Eniv account to be a Guest Artist, but we may prioritize applications from our community members.

We're looking for individuals with a passion for creating Enivi or Enivi-like creatures, who genuinely enjoy making interesting and appealing designs with themes or aesthetics our community will love!

How Is Payment Handled?

Payments are handled on a tiered scale with a few exceptions. Here's how it works:

  • After an Enivi is sold, any third-party processing fees are deducted from the amount.
  • If the Enivi was bought for more than $200 USD, Keepers of Eniv takes a 25% fee from the amount.
  • The remaining amount is then sent to the Guest Artist.
How Can I Avoid the 25% Fee?
  • The 25% fee is only applied to sales that reach $200 USD or more and will never exceed $500 USD.
  • Official staff members are exempt from this fee.
  • Agreeing in advance to advertise the adoptable Enivi you create on your social media platforms can also negate this fee.

Once the payment from the buyer has fully processed, we send the appropriate amount along with a breakdown to the Guest Artist.

What Is the Sale Process Like?

Before an Enivi is put up for sale, the Guest Artist will discuss the price and sales structure with Keepers of Eniv. The Guest Artist can choose between a flat sale or an auction.

  • Flat Sale: An Enivi is sold first-come-first-served for a specific price. If it remains unsold for 30 days, the price may be reduced by no more than 50%, if agreed upon by Keepers of Eniv and the Guest Artist.

  • Auction: An Enivi has a start bid and bid increment. The Guest Artist and Keepers of Eniv will set the start bid price, bid increment, and start/end dates (no more than 2 weeks). An AutoBuy option can allow someone to purchase the Enivi at a higher price, skipping the bidding process. If the Enivi is not sold, it'll be moved to a Flat Sale option.

Keepers of Eniv will post announcements on-site, in news posts, and in our Discord server to remind players about and promote our Enivi for sale.

What Are tHe Quality Standards For The Enivi?

Guest Artist Enivi should be at their highest quality!
These are special Enivi, created with extra love and care, and our Sales Team will do a check to ensure they're meeting our Quality Standards before we release them to our community.

Site Style Enivi

Site Style Enivi are made, as you likely guessed, in the site's style!
These can be custom-painted poses, Enivi created with the site's assets, or a mix of the two - but the style must be Keepers of Eniv consistent.
If you choose to use the Character Creator to start your base, make sure you edit out any clipping, or paint over any areas that might have unwanted pixelation. Blend in areas where fur mismatches - give that Enivi any extra love it might need to make sure they're looking their best for their debut!

Markings should not be added in the Character Creator.
Guest Artist Enivi should be magical and unique, with custom, hand-painted markings and customized, carefully curated traits.

We want to see the love you put into your designs!

Custom Style Enivi

Occasionally, we'll allow Custom Style Enivi to be created.
These are Enivi created outside the site's style, and should be sold at a much higher price.
This work should be at your highest quality. Line art should be clean, coloring should be inside the lines, any shading should be intentional.

We will be particularly picky with Custom Style Enivi Artist requests.

What Is The Application Process Like?

We accept a limited number of Guest Artists per month but are happy to reach out to individuals who want specific months or themes when they become available.

FAQ

  • I'm not in the United States; are all prices in USD?
Keepers of Eniv is based in the United States, so the currency we work in is USD. Any conversion or fees related to it fall under "third-party fees."

  • I want to discuss something in the agreement I'd like to adjust.
Feel free to reach out to "Tony" in our Discord server! He'll be happy to help you out.

  • I saw something in the agreement about "down payments." What's that about?
When Keepers of Eniv commissions artists outside of our community for special events, we sometimes issue a "down payment" for their adoptable Enivi. Additional funds go to the artist after the down payment is reimbursed, ensuring fair payment for the artist. This is a rare instance and not a common practice.

  • How often can I apply to be a Guest Artist?
As often as you'd like! We prioritize new Guest Artists to give everyone a chance, but we love seeing familiar faces too.

  • Can I collaborate with other artists as a Guest Artist?
    Collaborations are welcome!
However, all collaborating artists must be approved Guest Artists and agree to the Guest Artist Agreement. Payment distribution will be managed as per the agreed terms among the collaborators.

  • How are disputes or issues handled?
Any disputes or issues should be brought to our attention right away.
We aim to resolve any concerns amicably and fairly, and to keep on good terms with both our community and our Guest Artists!

  • What if I need to withdraw my application or cancel my participation as a Guest Artist?
If you need to withdraw your application or cancel your participation, please notify us as soon as possible. We understand that circumstances change, and we aim to be flexible and supportive.

  • I have another question!
Feel free to get in touch. We're always here for you!
